The CMI is one of Scotland’s leading film organisations. It currently incorporates Scotland’s pre-eminent independent cinema, Filmhouse, the world’s longest continually running film festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the Belmont Filmhouse in Aberdeen, and the Filmhouse and Belmont Filmhouse Café Bars.
We are looking to recruit a new Chair and up to four new board members to support the executive deliver against the organisation’s ambitions over the next four years.The CMI is aiming to ensure that the board is reflective of the values and scope of the CMI’s objectives, businesses and operations, the diversity of its audiences and the communities it works with, and of the industry sector it works within.

Café Bar Chef
Filmhouse are looking for a Café Bar Chef to assume day to day responsibility of the food preparation as instructed, in conjunction with the kitchen supervisor and other kitchen staff. This role involves carrying out all the duties required by the management, as directed by the kitchen supervisors in any area you are assigned by your duty rota. It requires the maintainance of high standards of food production, presentation and hygiene in the Filmhouse Café Bar. This position may include being a building key holder and is subject to satisfactory references being obtained.
