Based on the true story of a young Jewish boy, the film depicts the Vel' d'Hiv Roundup (Rafle du Vel' d'Hiv), the mass arrest of Jews by French police for the Nazis in Paris in July 1942.

Screening in support of Holocaust Memorial Day (27th January) which this year takes Speak Up Speak Out as its theme. A teaching resource has been produced by Institut Français to support this film and is available here.
