Following a horrific stroke in 2005, acclaimed Scottish lyricist and musician Edwyn Collins lost large pieces of his memory, including access to all language save for a few phrases. Miraculously, with the help of his wife Grace Maxwell, Collins relearned how to read, walk and draw, and he gradually redeveloped his singing voice well enough to record two critically acclaimed albums and maintain a moderately active performing career.

A truly exemplary entry into fully sensory cinema, The Possibilities Are Endless employs lush cinematography and cleverly constructed sound design to put the viewer inside Collins' recovering mind as he experiences the world anew.

We are delighted to welcome Edwyn Collins, his wife Grace Maxwell and the film's co-director Edward Lovelace, who will take part in a Q&A after the screening.
