Introduction to European Cinema - Spring 2010

Until Tue 16 Mar

An invaluable opportunity to discover or to learn more about great classics as well as less known films that are representative of key periods and movements in European cinema.

Organised in parallel with the Edinburgh University programmes in Film Studies, the screenings are part of undergraduate and graduate studentsí syllabuses, but are equally open to regular members of the Filmhouse public.

Films are preceded by short presentations by Pasquale Iannone from the Film Studies Programme at the University of Edinburgh, and followed by question and answer sessions, allowing those spectators
who wish to do so to take part in informal discussions and ask specific questions about the film they
have just seen.
