Sexy, funny and charming, this effervescent romantic comedy tracks a lovable loser caught between two beautiful but loopy women, who alternate between being head-over-heels in love with him and completely cool to his advances.
David, a French horn player, has recently arrived in Paris and moves into a shared apartment with beautiful blonde Anne (Frédérique Bel), who is more than a little flaky. After David responds to what seem to be her advances, she tells him that she is unavailable and in love with a client at her copy shop – despite the small matter of not yet having talked to him – even after she spends a night with David and lives with him practically as a lover in their tiny, privacy-free apartment; nonchalantly undressing in front of him and even asking him to help with her bra. David, unfazed by her resistance, falls for an impassive music student, Julia (Fanny Valette), who has her own set of neuroses and hot and cold streaks.
The capricious women and unusual living arrangements combine for a series of twists and reversals as quintessentially French as they are comically absurd.
