How you can help Filmhouse

Filmhouse celebrates world cinema in all its brilliance and diversity, showing over 500 incredible films each year. Our programme features new releases and classic re-releases, retrospectives, film seasons and specialist festivals. We also  run a variety of education projects, including events for adults and children.

Filmhouse is a trading name of Centre for the Moving Image (CMI), a registered charity which also incorporates the Edinburgh International Film Festival and Edinburgh Film Guild. Scottish Charity No. SC006793. Filmhouse receives funding from Creative Scotland, City of Edinburgh Council and Europa Cinemas, but in order to support the non-commercial programme of films and events we put on, we still rely on donations and sponsorship to help make it all possible.
