Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

The Centre for the Moving Image (CMI) incorporates Scotland’s leading independent cinema, Filmhouse, the world’s longest continually running film festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the Filmhouse Café Bar, and the Belmont Filmhouse in Aberdeen.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and technically skilled Head of Finance to look after our sites in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and provide an internal service that will support our continued success and growth. Our Edinburgh site also hosts the world-renowned Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) in June each year.

A highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for the arts, you’ll be commercially astute and have previous experience of financial reporting and cashflow management to tight deadlines, and a proven track record of positive impact. You will be able to communicate effectively at all levels and be able to adapt your style to suit your audience and love working in a fast paced environment.

This may suit a qualified accountant who want to make their first move out of practice or one who  already has a couple of years working in business under their belt.

The role will suit someone who wants to constantly improve how we do things to make them better for our business. You’ll be someone who transforms proposals into reality and have a track record of doing this elsewhere.
