This year's EIFF Youth Spring Weekender, organised by the Filmhouse Young Programmers from Tynecastle High School in Edinburgh, is themed around the topic of black voice on film. We’re screening Jordan Peele’s 2017 horror Get Out and Spike Lee’s 2018 historical drama BlacKkKlansman, two films of very different genres, but ones that share an important message told through their thrilling narratives. Tickets are all priced at a flat rate of £2 and the screenings include BSL-interpreted introductions from the Young Programmers themselves.
