It's never too late to learn, so Filmhouse regularly organises lectures, workshops and courses for adults as well. Filmhouse is proud to host to a number of great adult workshops and regular film seasons for people interested in studying and discussing film. We also host several CLPL sessions each year to enrich educators' teaching and learning practice through film.

Each year we are proud to partner with Into Film to deliver our annual programme of professional development in film education. For the autumn term, these terrific sessions will be available online as a series of webinars. Topics include Raising Literacy Attainment, Careers in Film, Mindfulness and Getting into Film – using it as a tool for learning.

CLPL OPPORTUNITY
Professional Practice in Film Education at Queen Margaret University
This course is aimed at those with experience in teaching moving image education, and/or teachers with experience or interest in using film in the classroom. It is a co-created course, which aims to pool the shared knowledge of this group of students to offer a reflective space to think about the pedagogy and practice of of film education, and develop a coherent, base level of professional standards for film education practice in Scotland.
